About Homestay
Padamchen is a small village nestled in the Himalayan foothills, surrounded by dense forest and chirping birds. It is a small village on the Silk Route circuit, perched at 7,000 feet and surrounded by dense forests, just 14 kilometres from Rongli and 10 kilometres from Zuluk. One of the key reasons for the appeal of this small Himalayan hamlet is the excellent weather it enjoys throughout the year. Staying at Padamchen could be a good option if you aren't used to the bitter cold and snowfall but want to see the mesmerising dawn and winding roads and valleys of the Silk Route circuit. It offers some of the best views of this portion of Sikkim's valleys and forests, as well as the Himalayan foothills.
