The location is in East Sikkim, at an elevation of approximately 7000 feet. By car, it takes four to four and a half hours from NJP or Siliguri. Everyone loves the "Old Silk Route," and Agamlok is one of the new locations along that route. Sherpas make up the majority of the village's population. You can spend two or three days here while travelling the Silk Route.
